Janet Walton
Janet Walton is the mother of the world’s first all-female sextuplets. With her husband Graham, she had been trying to have children for a number of years when she finally fell pregnant after her thirteenth fertility treatment. She gave birth on 1 November 1983. Janet still lives in Wallasey, Liverpool, and is glad that at least one daughter – Hannah – still lives at home. She was the administrator of The Newborn Appeal at Liverpool Women’s NHS Foundation Trust for over 20 years.
