Jane RobinsonJane Robinson grew up in Ireland and worked abroad, in the USA and India, for twenty years. Informed by a BA from Trinity College Dublin and a PhD in Biological Science from the California Institute of Technology, much of her writing would now be desribed as ecopoetry. Poems from this, her first, collection have won the Strokestown International Poetry Prize and the Red Line Book Festival Poetry Award; were second for the Patrick Kavanagh Poetry Award; and have been commended for a variety of awards including the Oxford Brookes International Poetry Competition and the Pacuare Poetry Competition in support of Pacuare Reserve, a conservation initiative based in Costa Rica.
