Jane LambertJane Lambert is a fifth-generation, northern California rancher, turned Montanan, in large part due to Charles M. Russell's art and Will James's books. Her family homesteaded in Lake County, California, in the 1850s. She grew up ranching with a passin for horses. As a kid, she hung Russell's art on her walls and read all of James's books with a fascination for, and a desire to see, Montana.
