Jan WojcikJan Wojcik grew up on Long Island Sound in East Norwalk, Connecticut. He spent eight years as a Jesuit seminarian before leaving the Church in 1970. He holds degrees from Boston College and Yale University and spent his career teaching at Purdue and larkson Universities, winning five teaching awards. His publications include books on the Bible as literature, farming ethics, medical ethics, and a translation of Horace's Odes, in addition to numerous essays.
