Jamil Mina

Jamil Mina is the Head of the Regional Office of Technology, Financial Services, at Red Hat. A 25+ years technology veteran in the Financial Services industry, Jamil is passionate about the value of open source and how it can help Financial instittions be successful in achieving their Digital Transformation objectives. His areas of expertise include security, risk, and compliance, DevOps practices, open hybrid cloud, and banking and financial systems architecture.Previously, Jamil was a leader at BMO Financial Group, a large financial institution in Canada and in the top 50 worldwide. During his tenure, he enabled continuous deployment, data center automation, and container orchestration. Driving such complex transformational capabilities required a strong collaboration with the business and application development teams.
