Jamie Rix

Jamie Rix was born in London in 1958 and has three brothers and sisters. He is also a TV Producer and Director and has worked on comedy shows such as Smith and Jones and many others. He lives in Battersea with his wife and two children

For wenty five years, Jamie Rix has combined a career in television as a director, writer and producer with writing for children. He has worked on a wide variety of comedy programmes including the BAFTA winning The Revenge Files of Alistair Fury and Grizzly Tales for Gruesome Kids, as well as the British Comedy Award winning Faith in the Future and most recently the BBC sitcoms My Hero and Not Going Out. He continues writing for television and film, as well as writing books for children of all ages.
