She has received fellowships and grants from The New York State Council on the Arts, The Bread Loaf Writers Conference and TheConnecticut Commission on the Arts. She has a B.A. in literature from Bard College, an M.F.A. in creative writing from Goddard College and an M.F.A. in screenwriting from the U.C.L.A. School of Theatre, Film and Television.
