James W HaworthMr. Haworth was born in Arbuckle, California, in 1941. He lived in many states in what you might call an eclectic life. With eight brothers from his parent's various marriages, he quickly learned how to deal with life's challenges. After graduating fom a Quaker college with a biology degree and a minor in religion, Jim went to work in the medical field. After a short stint working in a mental hospital, he began work at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, becoming deeply involved with the growing field of ultrasound in its various iterations, including cardiology, neurology, obstetrics, gynecology, and vascular technology. A fifty-year career in the medical field coupled with life in diverse parts of the country makes him uniquely qualified to present an array of short but to the point thoughts on living life and enjoying it while pursuing success. In 1984, he discovered his talent for writing when he bought his first Macintosh computer. He began seriously writing his short thoughts and sci-fi stories around 1999, delving into poetry a few years later. In this way, he began to express his positive thoughts on life. For several years, he gathered them together, presenting them to his children at Christmas time. In 2006, he organized his writings and published his first inspirational book.
