He received a Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Washington He has worked at: Ohio State University; the National Institutes of Health; Mayo Clinic; the University of Washington; and City of Hope National Medical Center, where he served as President and Chief Medical Officer.
