James McCrone Douie
Sir James McCrone Douie was a British civil servant and author who served in the Indian Civil Service during the British Raj. He is best known for his scholarly work The Punjab, North-West Frontier Province and Kashmir, which provides a dtailed account of the geography, administration, and socio-political conditions of these regions during colonial rule.
