James MachellJames Machell is a British speculative fiction and non-fiction writer. Born in London, he holds an MSc from The University of Edinburgh. His fiction, often blending SF with horror, has appeared in MetaStellar, Simultaneous Times, and Sci Phi Journal.James contributes to The Encyclopedia of Science Fiction and serves as the outreach manager for Utopia Science Fiction Magazine, for which he interviewed many of the authors and artists who appear in this collection.
