James M. SteeleJames Steele received a Bachelor of Arts degree as an English Major from Lafayette College, Easton, PA. and both a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania. He practiced architecture in and around the hiladelphia area for twelve years and became registered in Pennsylvania before relocating to Saudi Arabia where he taught for eight years at King Faisal University in Dammam. He then moved to London, and served as Senior Editor of Architectural Design magazine, while also teaching at the Prince of Wales's Institute for Architecture. Since 1991, he has taught at the University of Southern California, where he has also received a Doctorate in Urban Planning and is now a tenured Professor there.
