Jake Baddeley

Jake Baddeley studied art in London, and then he travelled around Europe, eventually settling in Holland and taking up oil painting. The Old Masters, such as Rembrandt and Vermeer, guided him from the Rijksmuseum walls in Amsterda, and the Mauritshuis in the Netherlands. Jake learned all he could about Dutch painting in the Golden Age and synthesised these techniques with the ideas of C. G. Jung, the role of the unconscious, and the glory of Woman.
