Jaime EchavarriJaime Echávarri is an academic and policy consultant with more than 15 years of international experience. He has held research positions at the University of Manchester, the University of Sheffield, the Autonomous University of Barcelona, the Universty of Modena in Regio Emilia and the Tecnologico de Monterrey. As a multidisciplinary researcher, Dr. Echávarri has collaborated in ESRC and ERC funded research projects where his research has contributed towards improving our understanding about the effects of the digital transformation in development policy, across different fields of knowledge. As a consultant he has collaborated with the UNEDO, the ILO, and the Calabria Region in Italy. His research interests are the intersections between Development Studies and technology. Jaime obtained his PhD in in Development Policy and Management at the University of Manchester and prior to that he was part of the Tec de Monterrey faculty at the Government School (EGAP) where he also served as MPA/MPP program director.
