Jacqueline S FrenchJacquie French was born and raised in Worcester, Massachusetts. She met her best friend and soon-to-be husband, Tom French, in high school in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. They were married in 1983, one year after Jacquie was voted Miss Congeniality in he Miss New England States Pageant. In 1996, Tom was diagnosed with A.L.S. They moved to Vermont to contently live out their days in sickness and in health, till death do us part. In 1998, after years of infertility, Jacquie finally gave birth to Lauren, their miracle daughter. Seven years later, Tom passed away, and Jacquie went on to advocate for the A.L.S. Association's National Office in California.
