Jackie married Byron Pyle when she was 19 and they were married for over fifty years until his passing. They have four children. As an adult Jackie became interested in poetry and was published many times over the years, including her series "Making a Point with Poetry." Besides writing, Jackie has had a lifetime interest in civic improvement of her Hoosier community, interior design, and most passionately, politics.
