J. J. SakuraiJ. J. Sakurai was a noted theorist in particle physics. He received his B.A. from Harvard University in 1955 and his Ph.D. from Cornell University in 1958. He was appointed as an assistant professor at the University of Chicago, where he worked untilhe became a professor at the University of California, Los Angeles in 1970.
