Ivar Asplund grew up in southern Sweden. His grandmother taught him to knit when he was five years old. He is now a well-respected instructor and workshop leader within the knitting world. His well thought-out garments are distinguished by their sphisticated simplicity as well as their fine and practical attention to the details.
