Isabella Grott

Isabella Grott was born in Rovereto in the province of Trento. After graduating from the Alessandro Vittoria Art Institute in Trento, she moved to Florence, Italy to pursue a bachelor's degree in Pictorial Decoration at the Academy of Fine Arts. Se then enrolled in the NEMO Academy of Digital Arts where she studied illustration and graduated in 2010. She currently collaborates with the Academy as an illustration teacher at the E-DESIGN course.

In 2015 he won the literary prize IL BATTELLO A VAPORE for illustrators.

To date, she collaborates with several publishing houses between Italy and abroad.

A curious and restless illustrator, she loves to change technique often to experiment with new possibilities, and is a great lover of pencils, watercolors and collage. She loves to “make mistakes ‘ because as the generous Rodari said ’Sbagliando s'inventa!”
