Later, stitchery, sewing, and painting classes inspired her to pursue a bacheor of fine arts degree, focusing on graphic design and art history. Following a multi-faceted visual arts career in Dallas, she operated a women's clothing store in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Never without a small studio, the artist's embellishment of Easter eggs has brought her pleasure for over sixty years.
