Irina Dunnna Dunn has been the Executive Director of the New South Wales Writers' Centre for seven years. After obtaining an English Honours Degree at the University of Sydney, she worked variously as a tutor in the English Department at Sydney University, asa journalist, book editor, film-maker, school and TAFE teacher, university lecturer, writer and translator. She won a prize for her text A Natural Legacy: Ecology in Australia, which she co-wrote and co-edited with two scientists, and received an international documentary prize for her film Fighting for Peace.
