With colleagues, she has developed physical health services incluing an award-winning Healthy Lifestyle programme. She has contributed to national working groups including the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges working group on Physical Health of People with Severe Mental Illness. With Dr David Gray, she co-edited the 1st Edition of Essentials of Physical Health in Psychiatry.
