Her research trajectory is focused on the optimisation and development of analytical methodologies for the determination of emerging and priority organic contaminants, mainly pharmaceuticals and metabolites, in environmental matrices (surface water, wastewater, sewage sludge, and biota) and their application to fate, removal, degradation, and risk assessment studies.
