A three-time CFO, she is currently a Fellow in Harvard University's Advanced Leadership Initiative, where her work focuses on the leadership, financial, and operating models organizations need to pivot, scale, and sustain in increasingly volatile environments.Ilana is the co-founder of Attention Shift OS LLC and co-author of The ROI Lie: Why Transformation Fails and What to Measure Instead, which challenges conventional approaches to measuring transformation and introduces a new way of thinking about organizational attention, capacity, and the value created by change. She is also the founder of Esterrich+Associates, where she advises mission-driven organizations, including nonprofits, associations, and other tax-exempt entities, on strategic finance, organizational capacity, transformation, operating effectiveness, and leadership. Most recently, Ilana served as Chief Financial Officer of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, where she led finance, accounting, treasury, compliance, procurement, and financial planning and analysis while helping guide the organization through a period of significant operational, financial, and external change. Previously, she served as CFO of the American Coatings Association and Chief Financial and Administrative Officer of the Center for Strategic and Budgetary Assessments.
