Ian LumleyIan Lumley is a retired Civil Servant. Having spent most of his working life in the Personnel function of a variety of Government Departments explaining rules and regulations to others, he decided after retiring to venture into more creative writing reas. He has had some twenty poems published in the first two years of beginning to write. Although a fervent Scot, he lives with his wife in South Wales, where his grandsons take up most of his time when he is not writing for pleasure. His previous works also include some thirty short stories and a series of six novels detailing the career of a Scottish (what else?) detective and his wife transplanted to other parts of the United Kingdom.
