Ian Davies Ian has 40 years of experience as a qualified architect and has run and managed all types of building contracts, including traditional and Design and Build, on both large and small projects. Having been director of a small practice for the last 20 yers he has experience of all aspects of practice and a keen understanding of the pressures of the contract administration role. He now works as a consultant architect and party wall surveyor. He previously worked for Sheppard Robson and DLP Inskips Design Ltd among others and has been involved in a variety of sectors with a particular focus on Education, Housing and Leisure. Ian was a key member of the RIBA working group that developed the new RIBA Plan of Work 2013. He is also a member of the RIBA Planning Group and remains a corresponding member of the RIBA Small Practice Committee. He was previously involved in the RIBA Procurement Reform Group.
