Ian BrownIan Brown currently works for Canterbury City Council's Department of Planning as Head of Planning and Regeneration. He has wide-ranging responsibilities which include: development management and enforcement, conservation and countryside services, plnning policy, transportation, building control, and land charges and strategic housing. He is project leader on a number of regeneration and joint developer partner projects. After graduating from the School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape at Newcastle University, he has worked in a range of multidisciplinary planning roles in a number of UK local authorities and also has a Masters degree which focused on the ecological and landscape design principles of planning.
