Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar (Uttarakhand), with Master in Botany and Economics from Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University, Bareilly (Uttar Praesh), India. He is presently working as a Scientist at Forest Research Institute, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. The competence area of his research and teaching is the eco-physiology, forest micrometeorology covers carbon, water and energy fluxes in vegetation system and forest and climate change includes plant response to elevated CO2, rising temperature, drought and nutrient stress. He is the recipient of young scientist awards from various international/national/regional agencies especially Secretariat of AsiaFlux Japan; SERB-DST, New Delhi; VIFRA,Chennai and UCOST, Dehradun. Dr. Singh has visited Vietnam under fellowship received from Secretariat of AsiaFlux Japan. He has been engaged in research and completed several projects funded from DST-SERB, ISRO, ICFRE and SFD. Besides, he has also published more than 35 articles include research papers and chapters and also edited two books and two proceedings of seminar/workshop.
