Hugh GardnerHugh Gardner is a semi-retired social scientist and former muckraking journalist, political consultant, avid conservationist, and fly fishing adventure writer. His articles have appeared in many magazines, including Esquire, Harper's, The Nation, Moter Jones, Rolling Stone, Human Behavior, and Playboy. His Ph.D. dissertation was published by St. Martin's Press as The Children of Prosperity, a study of counter-culture communes in the 1970s. Copies are still available today on Amazon. More than one hundred of his fishing stories have been published in The Rocky Mountain News, The Angling Report, Rocky Mountain Streamside, and Wild on the Fly.
