Herman HeijermansHerman Heijermans (b. Rotterdam, 1864) was a Dutch writer. His novels and stories include Trinette, Fles, Interieurs, and Diamanstad. His play, The Good Hope (Op Hoop van Zegen), which criticised the exploitaion of Dutch fishermen, was produced to great interest in his homeland, and went on to tour internationally.
