Henry Peter

Henry Peter is both professor and head of the commercial law department of the University of Geneva Law School as well as senior partner of a law firm based in Lugano, Switzerland. He specializes in commercial, banking, finance, arbitration and sprts law. Since 2001, he is Vice-Chairman of the disciplinary chamber of the Swiss Olympic Association in charge of doping cases is a member of the Swiss Arbitration Association and chairman of its Swiss Italian section, and is author or editor of several books and numerous papers in the various fields of his activities. Henry Peter frequently acts as chairman, sole arbitrator or member of arbitral tribunals in commercial and sport matters. He was a member of the 31st America's Cup Arbitration Panel between 2000 and 2003, member of the 32nd America's Cup Jury between 2006 and 2007 and Chairman of the 33rd America's Cup Arbitration Panel between July 2007 and April 2009.
