Henry M. Stanley

Henry M. Stanley (1841-1904) was a Welsh-American journalist and explorer known for his exploration of Africa and his search for the source of the Nile. Stanley's expeditions and writings contributed significantly to European knowledge of the Afrian continent. His work in Africa, including the Emin Pasha Relief Expedition detailed in this book, solidified his reputation as a prominent explorer and adventurer.
