Hemant Datye

Hemant Datye is an independent consultant based in Pune. After obtaining his Ph.D. in zoology from the University of Bombay, he acquired advanced training in environment and wildlife conservation and management, and in environmental economis. He has been a fellow under the Capacity 21 Project sponsored by the United Nations Development Programme. Apart from his writing in Marathi on environmental issues, Dr Datye has edited A Week with Elephant.
