Helena MesaHelena Mesa is the author of Horse Dance Underwater (Cleveland State University Poetry Center) and a co-editor of Mentor and Muse: Essays from Poets to Poets (Southern Illinois University Press). Her poems have appeared in Cimarron Review, Indiana Review, Pleiades, Prairie Schooner, Third Coast, the Academy of American Poets' Poem-a-Day series, and elsewhere.
