Heather Jackson
Heather Jackson worked as an eye surgeon in Cambodia in the 1990s. Here she was exposed daily to the effects of landmine injuries on ordinary families, as well as the continued trauma from the Khmer Rouge years. Previously she hadacademic papers published on these experiences, but this is her first novel.
