He has trained and supervised over a thousand audiologists and psychologists, and published over 50 reearch papers in the field of audiology. He is Honorary Hearing Research Consultant at the Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust (UK), Affiliate Assistant Professor at Florida Atlantic University (USA) and Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Surrey (UK). He has served as Managing Editor of the journal Noise and Health, Associate Editor of the International Journal of Audiology, a member of the Editorial board of the journal Auditory and Vestibular Research, and the Secretary of the British Society of Audiology.
