Harry Sieber Harry Sieber, professor of Spanish at Johns Hopkins University, has authored two books, The Picaresque and Language and Society in the 'Lazarillo de Tormes', as well as numerous articles on the Spanish comedia, Quevado, and Cervantes. He has alsoedited and written the critical introduction to Novelas Ejemplares by Miguel de Cervantes, now in its 20th edition. He has served as general editor of Modern Language Notes and was key editor of the journal's Hispanic issue.
