Harriet Constable
Harriet Constable es una periodista, escritora y documentalista londinense. Creció tocando la flauta, el piano y cantando con su madre, cantante y pianista de formación clásica. Licenciada en Filología Inglesa porla Universidad de Birmingham, asistió a la Escuela de Cine de Verano en la Universidad de Columbia y recibió la Beca Pulitzer. Trabajó en el Financial Times antes de pasar varios años en África. Su trabajo periodístico y documental se ha publicado en medios como The New York Times, BBC, The Guardian, The Times, NPR y The Economist, y ha sido nominada a diversos premios de periodismo. Formó parte del equipo del documental 9/11: Inside the President's War Room, que ganó un premio BAFTA. The Guardian la ha destacado como una de las mejores nuevas autoras de 2024.
Harriet Constable is a journalist, writer, and documentary filmmaker from London. She grew up playing the flute, piano, and singing with her mother, a classically trained singer and pianist. She holds a degree in English Literature from the University of Birmingham, attended the Summer Film School at Columbia University, and received the Pulitzer Fellowship. She worked at the Financial Times before spending several years in Africa. Her journalism and documentary work have been published in outlets such as The New York Times, BBC, The Guardian, The Times, NPR, and The Economist, and she has been nominated for various journalism awards. She was part of the team for the documentary 9/11: Inside the President's War Room, which won a BAFTA award. The Guardian has highlighted her as one of the best new authors of 2024.
