Hannah WicklundHannah Wicklund is known worldwide as a standout guitarist, singer, songwriter and performer, but with the release of her upcoming new record War on Women; Calling All Good Men, she is now adding Editor-In-Chief to her already impressive resume, as se launches the Strawberry Moon Tribune, which will be available globally wherever books are sold. Her last record 'The Prize' explored themes of duality between light and dark, and the passing of the baton from girlhood to womanhood, and earned her the accolade of Rolling Stone Brazil's #1 Rock Album of 2024, outranking Pearl Jam, Jack White, and Judas Priest. War on Women; Calling All Good Men is the natural progression of that record and serves as a not-so-subtle plea asking those brave enough to stand up and begin using their voices and individual power to create a safer and sweeter world. "I became quite disenchanted with the selfish nature of the music industry, and was supremely aware that I did not want to use the plight of women to singularly further my career. In a time when good information has been weaponized, and awareness has fallen into the hands of those who seek to control and abuse, my aim in creating the Strawberry Moon Tribune is simply to share good information, support my fellow artists and friends, and to create a container for the ancient wisdom that is bubbling to the surface."Hannah's new record will be released to Vinyl and CD on August 28th, 2026, prioritizing physical media, while the 13 tracks will be released individually to streaming platforms with each full moon over the course of one year, marking a truly unique and ritualistic release strategy, beginning with the first track 'War on Women' out June 29th, 2026 on the Strawberry Moon. The Strawberry Moon Tribune will follow a similar release pattern, only releasing on each New Moon, with Volume 1 dropping June 15th. The tribune is meant to serve as a guide through each moon cycle and includes contributions from fellow musicians, artists, an astrologer, a witch, a doula, an herbalist (& more!). The Tribune encourages the reader to add their own artistry and introspection within the many journal spaces inside and via the upload portal on www.strawberrymoontribune.com, offering readers the chance to be published within future volumes of the publication. Hannah invites each reader to join the tribune and it's many contributors as they answer the call to collective imagination. Read More Read Less
