Hamid EssabirProf. Hamid Essabir is a Qualified Higher Education Professor and has served as Head of the Department of Mechanical and Civil Engineering at the National School of Applied Sciences (ENSA), Agadir, Morocco, since 2018. He is also an associated researcher at MAScIR, Institute of Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology (NANOTECH), in Rabat. He earned his Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences and Techniques (2015) through Ibn Zohr University in collaboration with MAScIR, with a dissertation focused on bio-composites derived from argan nutshells, including development, characterization, and mechanical modeling. His research covers hybrid reinforced/filled polymer composites, advanced materials such as graphene/nanoclay, lignocellulosic reinforced/filled polymers, modification of lignocellulosic fibers, nanocomposites and nanocellulose fibers, and polymer blends.
