Halina Filipowicz
Halina Filipowicz is a professor emerita in the Department of German, Nordic, and Slavic and the Department of Gender and Women’s Studies at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Her main areas of research are Polish and Polish-Jewish literaure, modern intellectual history, and gender studies. In 2020, she became the first woman to serve as editor in chief of The Polish Review.
