Hakee L MitchellHakee L. Mitchell was born in St. Louis, Missouri on April 15. 1974. He graduated from Berkeley Senior High School in 1992 and begin writing poetry after the birth of his first child in 1994. Although trouble seem to follow Hakee he still made up in is mind that he would make a positive impact in the world. He was convicted of 1st degree Assault in December of 1997 and sentenced to 10 years in the Department of Corruption on June 17, 1998. After being released from prison on June 25, 2006 he vowed to be a positive role model to all those that his path encountered.
