Gus FosterGus Foster was born in Wisconsin. He graduated with a degree in art history from Yale University in 1963, and became Curator of Prints and Drawings at the Minneapolis Institute of Art, a position he held for ten years. In 1972 he moved to Los Angelesto focus on his own photography and then relocated to Taos, New Mexico, in 1976 where he has lived ever since.
