Gurmail Singh

Gurmail Singh is Professor of Economics, Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. He completed his Masters and PhD in Economics from Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. He has two joint publications with Professor G.S. Bhalla, namely, GAT and Punjab Agriculture (1995) and Indian Agriculture: Four Decades of Development (2001). His other publications include Understanding North-west Indian Economy (jointly edited with H.S. Shergill and Sucha Singh Gill, 2010), Rural Development in Punjab: A Success Story Going Astray (jointly edited with Autar S. Dhesi, 2008).
