Guillermo WildeGuillermo Wilde is researcher at the National Scientific Council and professor at National University of San Martin (Buenos Aires). Author of the book Religion y poder en las misiones Guaranies (2009) awarded the Latin American Associaton Studies Premio Iberoamericano Book Award (Toronto, 2010), the collection Saberes de la conversión (2011), and several articles on Indigenous history, colonial art and music, Iberian borderlands, Catholic missions of colonial Latin America, and religious conversion in comparative perspective. He has been fellow of the Wenner-Gren Foundation for Anthropological Research, the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, the National Museum of Ethnology (Japan), and the Fulbright Commission.
