Gregory D. RussellGregory D. Russell is an Associate Professor and Director of the criminology program at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, AR. He has previously served on the faculties of Georgia College, California State University at Chico, and Washington Stae University, where he was the director of the criminal justice program. Gregory earned his PhD from the University of Georgia and his MA and JD from the University of Akron. He is the author of Racial Bias and the Death Penalty: Overturning Supreme Court Decisions (1994), and a coauthor of Law Enforcement in the United States (2000). His work has also appeared in the American Review of Public Administration, Policing: An International Journal of Police Management and Strategies; Journal of Crime and Justice; Justice System Journal; and the American Journal of Criminal Justice.
