Father Gregory Boyle is a Jesuit priest and the founder of Homeboy Industries in Los Angeles, the largest gang-intervention, rehabilitation, and re-entry program in the world. He is the author of the New York Times bestseler Tattoos on the Heart: The Power of Boundless Compassion, as well as Cherished Belonging, Barking to the Choir, The Whole Language, and Forgive Everyone Everything. He has received the California Peace Prize and has been inducted into the California Hall of Fame. In 2024, President Biden awarded Father Boyle with the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
