Gregor PapaGregor Papa received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia in 2002. He is a Researcher at the Computer Systems department, Joef Stefan Institute, Ljubljana, Slovenia, since 1997. His research interests nclude optimization techniques, metaheuristic algorithms, and hardware implementations of high-complexity algorithms. He is also an Assistant Professor at the Joef Stefan International Postgraduate School, Ljubljana, Slovenia. He is giving lectures on graduate courses Hardware/Software Codesign and Computer Structures and Systems. His research work is published in international journals and conference proceedings. He co-organized several important international scientific conferences related to bio-inspired computation.
