Greg McVickerGreg McVicker received his Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of Manitoba in 2008. He has consulted, wrote scripts, developed, as well as produced and co-produced both Pandemic and HIV awareness videos for the sixty-three First Nationcommunities in Manitoba. He then followed this up by scripting, developing, and producing his own series of animated videos to create and promote additional awareness on HIV featuring the world's greatest advocates as his primary characters in the fight against this disease. They are available online: friggermortis YouTube.Greg resides in Winnipeg, Canada with his two children, Caitlin and Ciaran. Through the Eyes of a Belfast Child is his first book. He has written a series of children's books called, The Adventures of Silly Billy. These are based on his real life experiences while growing up in Belfast, and learning from his mistakes. He hopes to work with an illustrator and have these published soon.Greg aspires to expand his efforts to address HIV on a global level by ensuring equitable access to antiretroviral medications for those nations where this preventable disease is most prevalent.
