Grace Metzger ForrestAfter the Art Institute, Grace started animating children's CDs for a company called Knowledge Engineering in the Buckhead area of Atlanta. At Appletree Technologies, which became a New Horizon Training Center, she worked for their Multimedia Divisio. From there she drove to DayStar Digital on the outskirts of Atlanta where she worked in Director on an interface for their product line CD, which won a New Media Invision Bronze. She also illustrated products and enhanced photos. As a freelancer, Grace worked for a lot of different clients on many different types of projects: animated mutating cells for the CDC, internal presentations in the basement of the Coca-Cola Corporation, created scenes for a video game (don't ask), morphed Jell-o creations into Jell-o creatures for a Cartoon Network screensaver. Currently, she creates in a small studio in the top of her house in a little town on the Chesapeake Bay. When not working, Grace likes to sketch portraits in oil pastel or create detailed, shaded drawings in pencil. She shares a "junior" farm, as they call it, with her husband and daughter, complete with a garden, three chickens, and a goat. Read More Read Less
